MEGAMACHINE
The sound of a garbage truck as a metaphor of capitalist machine that grinds down the remnants of human production, in this case the sound of 'megamachine' as conceived by sociologist Lewis Mumford, a human social control machine that in the era of expansive development of new technologies threatens to completely take over human autonomy, freedom and wholeness, and whose branches author tries to allude to by choosing a bank as the location of this sound installation.

Born 1978 in Zagreb, Croatia, graduated in sociology, hobbyist musician guitarist, author and improviser. With this work he enters the world of site-specific sound installations as an extension of his interest in sound.
