Work description

Sound installation „Silent Rhythms of the City“ accentuates the sounds of bodies of citizens in the context of the city spaces. The sound modules are mounted at the quiet locations above the city streams that are flowing unknown, hidden underneath the streets. They reproduce sound portraits of randomly picked people of different ages, sex and occupation - sound of their bodies – of vital fluids and organs. Each module portraits one person, and by that each person represents one city stream.
